A good undergraduate or postgraduate degree (upper second or above) in Business Administration, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Development Studies, or Asian Studies;
A strong interest to undertake field-based research in East and Southeast Asia in relation to business firms and their global production networks and global value chains;
Prior knowledge or experience in conducting corporate surveys and/or interviews is a plus;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
A commitment to collaborative working and collegiality;
A dedication to research excellence.
Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions for the Research Assistantship:
Contract to be awarded till September 2019, starting July/August 2018.
Attractive monthly remuneration, depending on experience.

Vacation leave of 28 days per calendar year.
